LMCO is a leading developer and supplier of advanced Indium Antimonide FPA systems for military, science, and R&D customers.  Since 1986, the Santa Barabara Focalplane group has offered advanced InSb systems based upon their own in-house ROIC, InSb foundry, and packaging capability.  Over time, LMCO/SBF has developed technology classified as best in class in terms of ROIC functionality and InSb electro-optical performance.  No other InSb manufacturer can match the quality and capability of the LMCO/SBF arrays.  The company also is leading the way with advanced on-chip A/D conversion.  The benefits here are the elimination of system noise associated with off-chip A/D converters and thus unmatchable thermal sensitivity, and the best temporal response of any InSb array.

High Resolution IR Camera Systems:

AuraSR is the most mature megapixel InSb camera available today. Based upon the well-understood SBF-184 ROIC and InSb process, the AuraSR is a self-contained, high performance camera system ready to use in all advanced, high-resolution MWIR imaging applications. The camera features a 14-bit digital output via Full CamreaLink, integration times from 10 µs to full frame, very precise triggering for synchronous applications, and the LMCO/SBF InSb quality that cannot be matched by any manufacturer.

The LumaDR is the worlds highest performance VGA resolution InSb camera. Based upon the advanced SBF digital FPA design, where A/D conversion takes place on-chip, the Luma delivers the industry’s best NETD and the industry’s best temporal performance. The LumaDR leads the R&D class of 640 x 512 InSb cameras in terms of sensitivity, speed of integration, precision of trigger, and precision of integration waveform. Additional benefits of the digital FPA technology are highly stable offsets, near-perfect repeatability across integration times, and highly linear response. The LumaDR is packaged in an all-conductively cooled housing, and designed for rugged use.
