UC640-17 OEM Camera
The DRS UC640-17 OEM Camera system is an extremely rugged, sealed,
and ready to use thermal imaging system. Based upon DRS’s 640 x 480
x 17 um uncooled VOX microbolometer FPA, this system delivers the highest
thermal image sensitivity and resolution in a small, low power package.
Available with 40 deg, 25 deg, and 9 deg HFOV optics, this compact
system is designed as a power in/video out system. Simply apply power,
and the UC640-17 delivers the highest quality thermal imagery available.
Ruggedness: UC640-17 OEM package is enclosed in a seals metal housing,
includes waterproof electrical connectors and lens interfaces, and
maintains positive housing pressure. Simple place the camera anywhere,
apply power and collect video.
Image Quality: DRS is the undisputed leader in high sensitivity,
high resolution uncooled thermal imaging technology. All early innovations
in VOX technology start at DRS, and the UC640-17 continues this practice.
Ease of Use: This sealed unit has advanced imaging system management
to provide the best image quality all the time with no user interface.
Users can set the camera up once via RS232 control, and from there
on, perfectly balanced, high quality thermal imagery is delivered 24/7/365.
Advanced Options: With a connection to the camera, you can implement
continuous digital zoom functions, or
apply DRS’ proprietary LAP processing
for even sharper, higher contrast thermal imagery even in scenes with
very wide dynamic range components.
