The Axsys FieldPro5X continuous zoom thermal imager is the system of choice for security and surveillance, marine surveillance, and military range applicatios. With outstanding long-range target detection and recognition, the FieldPro5X combines exceptional performance with Axsys reliability and ease of use.

Axsys' FieldPro5X offers an extraordinarily clear long range thermal image with the convenience of continu ous zoom from 100 to 500mm. Its horizontal field of view extends smoothly from 5.5° to 1.10°, and it enables man sized target detector at ranges in excess of 8km in good conditions. The FieldPro5X utilizes advanced cooled InSb photodetector technology in a 320 x 256, 30µm pitch focal plane array and operates in the 3-5µm spectral region the best choice for marine and high humidity environments. Axsys' propri etary environmentally sealed, dry nitrogen backfilled enclosure ensures simple secure installation and stabil ity over variable temperatures and conditions and negates the need for additional housings to protect the thermal camera system. The FieldPro5X employs remotely controlled and user-friendly plug and play operation.
