The ExtremeX is an advanced 3-5 µm MWIR cooled InSb thermal imager coupled with a unique triple field of view (TFOV) optic. Focal lengths of 250 mm, 500 mm, and 1000 mm are provided. The minimum FOV is 0.55° H x 0.43°V. Vehicle detection ranges of >10 km are achievable. The ExtremeX is especially effective for long range thermal imaging of airborne targets due to its customized spectral sensitivity characteristics. Both 320 x 240 and 640 x 480 cooled InSb FPAs are supported. Full support of 12-bit digital output is offered exclusively by Sierra-Olympic Technologies.
