Sierra-Olympic Technologies offers advanced infrared imaging components and technologies for commercial, military, government, and OEM customers.
We support products from the industry's leading manufacturers and technology developers, with a consistent dedication to quality and expert service in advanced focal plane array technologies. We specialize in providing system solutions for users of infrared camera systems. Our services and products include optics, infrared camera components, and digital storage and image processing systems.
Sierra-Olympic Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1995 as a sales representation firm for advanced, cooled infrared camera technologies developed by Amber, A Raytheon Company. The founders' experience dates back to the earliest commercially-available, cooled InSb cameras developed by Amber. In 2010, the company was acquired by Hood Technology Corporation of Hood River, OR.
Sierra-Olympic's expertise dates back to the earliest commercially available Indium Antimonide focal plane arrays, and spans virtually all modern FPA-based infrared imaging technologies. The company has broad experience in the following imaging technologies:
Sierra-Olympic fundamentally provides expert sales engineering services for both manufactures and customers. We have been privileged to work with some of the most respected and innovative companies in infrared. Some of the manufactures we have supported in the past include:

Sierra-Olympic has traditionally worked with customers in the Western US, from New Mexico north to Montana and all states to the west. We have provided our equipment and services to virtually every major government and military R&D institution in the American West.
