The Vinden 75 provides continuous zoom, advanced image processing, and high-performance long-wave infrared (LWIR) thermal imaging in an unmatched small SWaP-C (size, weight, and power, and cost) package. The athermalized lens provides the benefits of both very wide (29°) and narrow (6°) horizontal fields of view (HFOV). Highly tuned one-touch autofocus operates quickly and reliably throughout the zoom range. Two options allow short or narrow form-factors, making the Vinden 75 a superb product for integrators of unmanned ground/aerial systems and security and surveillance products.
The Vinden 75’s 12-µm 640 x 480 thermal imaging core utilizes a small pixel size to offer high sensitivity and high framerate video. Paired with the core is a powerful processing engine that provides Ethernet and serial connectivity, MJPEG/H.264 encoded IP video streaming, digital zoom, electronic image stabilization, 32GB of onboard storage, and advanced image processing functions such as manual and automatic gain control, adaptive contrast control (CLAHE/LAP), target tracking and detection, and a wide array of color palettes. The LWIR camera is regulated under the U.S. EAR regulations (non-ITAR) and can be purchased with either a 60Hz or 7.5Hz framerate sensor.
